Denise Lee Richards (born February 17th, 1971. Height 5' 5 1 1/4" (1,66 millimeters)) is an American actress and former fashion model. She achieved success during the 1990s, in various films which highlighted her sexual appeal. These included Starship Troopers Wild Things and The World Is Not Enough. The reality television show Denise Richards: It's Complicated which is broadcast on American channel E!. Richards was born in Downers Grove Illinois the daughter of Joni who runs a cafe and Irv Richards who is a phone engineer. Michelle is her sole sister was raised in Mokena and Downers Grove Illinois. In 1989, she graduated at El Camino High School in Oceanside California. When she was a girl she was the only female player on the team. Richards started her modeling career as a professional model at the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency. In the 1990s, she was a model on smaller budget television series, including Saved by the Bell TV films. In addition, she was a guest star on television shows like Married with Children, a five second walkthrough. Her first starring role in a broad theatrical release in 1997 was Starship Troopers in 1997 which was followed by her appearance in the moderately successful cult film Wild Things in 1998.
